What it draws

Everything your viewers miss.

Keys, shortcuts, the pointer and a cat that types along with you — all of it rendered live, on top of whatever you are demonstrating.

Cursor halo

Never lose the pointer again.

A halo follows the cursor and answers every click, drag and scroll with its own reaction, so viewers always know where the action is.

  • Circle, squircle, square or diamond
  • Aura, solid, double, segmented or neon depth
  • Distinct reactions for left, right, middle, drag and scroll

Stacked history

Typing your viewers can read.

Continuous typing folds into readable lines while the active shortcut stays anchored below — a transcript of the demo instead of a flicker of single keys.

  • Single shortcut, horizontal history or stacked lines
  • Older lines fade as new ones arrive
  • Repeated letters each get their own keycap

Displays and position

Exactly where it belongs.

Drag the real overlay anywhere on any display, with snapping and guides, and every screen remembers its own spot.

  • Follows the display you are typing on, or stays pinned to one
  • Eight preset positions plus a free drag
  • A saved position per display

Native settings

A studio, not a settings sheet.

Live previews, theme galleries and per-behaviour controls in a proper native sidebar — every change is visible before you commit to it.

  • Preview the overlay while you edit it
  • Per-category colours for all ten key categories
  • Global shortcut to toggle the overlay mid-demo

Five languages

Speaks your language.

Keys come from your active layout, so accents, umlauts and Cyrillic show exactly what you typed — not an English approximation of it.

  • Reads the glyph your layout produced, at the moment you typed it
  • Interface in English, German, Spanish, French and Russian

Themes

Nine looks. Or build your own.

Six of the nine built-in families, live. The other three cover light Macs — and every one of them can be taken apart, down to per-key colours, corners, depth and shadows.

Keypress pet

A cat that types with you.

It types at your speed, watches the cursor and naps when you rest. Every habit has its own switch, and you can drag it anywhere on screen.

  • Sleeps
  • Hunts the cursor
  • Stretches
  • Grooms
  • Plays with its tail

Private by design

Nothing leaves your Mac.

The overlay is a renderer, not a recorder. It never sees what it is not shown, and it keeps nothing it draws.

No storage

A key is drawn, then forgotten. Nothing is written to disk and no history survives quitting.

No network

No account, no sync, no telemetry. The app makes no requests of its own and works fully offline.

Secure Input aware

While macOS protects a password field, key events are not delivered to the app at all — so they can never be drawn.

The full detail is on the privacy page.
